![]() Amalina has provided a high quality of support for our participants and is now moving to a new role – Support Coordinator. This role will include connecting DW participants with allied health professionals, service providers and with any services to enhance and assist our participants to achieve their NDIS goals. Amalina was a school teacher and came from Malaysia to Australia for further study. During this time, she fell in love with Australia and decided to call it home. She is mother to 2 beautiful girls and wife to an understanding, supportive and charming husband. Her favourite place to be is outdoors appreciating nature – bush walking, hiking, cycling with her family and picnics in the park. Even in the rain, Amalina enjoys being outside dancing in the wet backyard with her daughters! As a school teacher, Amalina always had a soft spot for people with disabilities (not that teachers ever have favourites! 😊 ) and dreamt of living in an inclusive society. 2020 has seen her find a role fulfilling this dream and helping others realise their dreams and making them happy. We truly enjoy Amalina’s heart for others and her adventurous spirit and it’s wonderful to have her in this coordinator role on the DW team!
