The DW Team work with participants and families to set wider goals, both within and beyond the framework of NDIS plans. We value this collaboration to achieve holistic, multi-dimensional outcomes to empower our participants.
We value individual worth and promote inclusive practices, recognising the power of collaboration. Everyone has something valuable to offer; there is a place for every voice to share their story.

Chrispine (profoundly Deaf) is kicking goals on and off the field with his soccer club, The South Toowoomba Hawks Soccer Club! Chrispine joined the club over a year ago and the club has been so welcoming! Not too long ago, Chrispine became the star of the team and was selected to play in the state championships! Unfortunately due to Covid19, the state competition was cancelled.
For coaching sessions, Chrispine uses an interpreter, DW team member Don, who assists with any discussions around team playing strategies and also with competition dates. For training sessions, our support worker Peter (also Deaf) takes Chrispine along for communication support. We are all so proud of Chrispine and really appreciate the willingness of the Hawks Soccer Club for leading the way for social inclusion in our sporting community. Love your fancy footwork, Chrispine! While Warwick brings Jumpers 'n' Jazz in July, and Stanthorpe delivers Apple 'n' Grape Festival in March, the Warwick and Stanthorpe DW teams deliver the goods all year through! The teams are friendly, compassionate and dedicated and we are grateful for the support you bring to your local communities. We love the camaraderie so evident in this team. The Western Downs region are richer for your experience and affability.

Thank you for your enthusiasm and diligence.
(L-R: Khairiya, Kurdish Coordinator Sarwet, Khudeeda, Khairi, Nishtman, and Suhaira) Meet Delia and Jonave! These two DW team members are support workers in our Kingaroy area. Both are well respected across the disability sector in their community for their kind and engaging manner. Thank you for the joy and dedication you bring both to our team and your local community.
