Amalina has provided a high quality of support for our participants and is now moving to a new role – Support Coordinator. This role will include connecting DW participants with allied health professionals, service providers and with any services to enhance and assist our participants to achieve their NDIS goals.
Amalina was a school teacher and came from Malaysia to Australia for further study. During this time, she fell in love with Australia and decided to call it home. She is mother to 2 beautiful girls and wife to an understanding, supportive and charming husband.
Her favourite place to be is outdoors appreciating nature – bush walking, hiking, cycling with her family and picnics in the park. Even in the rain, Amalina enjoys being outside dancing in the wet backyard with her daughters!
As a school teacher, Amalina always had a soft spot for people with disabilities (not that teachers ever have favourites! 😊 ) and dreamt of living in an inclusive society. 2020 has seen her find a role fulfilling this dream and helping others realise their dreams and making them happy.
We truly enjoy Amalina’s heart for others and her adventurous spirit and it’s wonderful to have her in this coordinator role on the DW team!
We welcome Delia as our new Coordinator for the South Burnett area. As the need for our support packages has grown in this region, we are so excited and grateful to enrich our team with Delia! With extensive experience in the disability sector, she also holds a fantastic reputation in both the Kingaroy community and local disability sector.
It is also worth the mention that some of us have had the privilege of sampling her delicious cooking – perhaps not essential to her role in the team, but very much appreciated nonetheless! 😊
We do still have support available for more participants in the South Burnett area - if you have an NDIS package and would like our specialised and individualised support packages, email [email protected] and we’ll put you in contact with Delia – she’d love to chat with you!
ANNOUNCEMENT - presenting our new Coordinator, Kurdish Community – Sarwet!

As well as this, Sarwet works as an interpreter for the local Kurdish community. With his invaluable ongoing support and commitment to our team, we are honoured to have such a trusted person within the Kurdish community like Sarwet.
Social inclusion is one of DW Consultancy’s core foundational values and we happily welcome other language groups and relish the opportunity to assist their inclusion into our community. Thank you Sarwet for what you contribute to our team and to the greater local community!
